In “Acting for the Camera,” young performers dive into the exciting world of on-screen acting. This engaging class introduces children to the unique aspects of acting in front of a camera, from hitting their marks to exploring various line deliveries. Students will discover the differences and similarities between theatrical and film acting, learning how to adjust their performances from the grandeur of the stage to the close-ups of the camera. Through fun exercises and creative scenes, kids will build confidence, enhance their acting skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for the art of film and television.

Audrey Panyard
Audrey’s passion for acting started at a young age through plays at Westfield schools and The Point. Her love for film acting started by playing the lead of of Rebecca in the short film, The Book of Faces and portraying the young Dina on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Audrey graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in Theatre and a concentration in performance and directing. She is excited to be working for Point and thrilled to be teaching your children her love for acting!
